Inside the Secret Isle of Man Court Case: The Delphi Trust Exposed

Mr Smalley, the executor of Mr and Mrs Durrant’s estates since 1989, has never recovered a single asset from the Jersey trust that—under a fraudulent deed created after Mr Durrant’s brutal, financially motivated murder—names the Freemasons as beneficiaries. Despite this failure to act, Mr Smalley maintained multiple loans and business dealings with the impostor trustee from 1989 onwards, all of which have now been cancelled. The deed is shown below.

Mr Smalley charged the estate millions in legal fees while taking no meaningful action for decades. Instead, he worked closely with the impostor trustee, who was permitted to act as a shareholder of Manor Estates in the Isle of Man for many years. It was only in 2017 that these shares were returned, with the admission that no declaration of trust ever existed to justify their control. This confirms that the impostor trustee had been acting as an impostor shareholder in one of Mr Durrant’s key companies for decades following his murder. It must also be remembered that the impostor trustee was originally Mr Durrant’s fund manager during his lifetime and for Mr Robert Maxwell. Mr Smalley instructs a King’s Counsel, Robert Ham KC, who has produced numerous reports over the years on the Durrant family trust arrangements. The same KC is now acting in the Delphi Trust case in the Isle of Man, where Mr Smalley has applied to the court for a secrecy order to conceal the identities of the beneficiaries, the settlor, and the vast sums of money involved. This application for secrecy is supported by a major charity, which stands to suffer significant losses in donations should the settlor’s identity become public.

The case also refers to a Jersey trust deed, which is clearly the purported deed created after Mr Durrant’s murder—a deed he never signed—yet one that purports to leave the entirety of his lifetime wealth to the Freemasons.

The link above leads to a secret court case in which a major charity is seeking to prevent the public from learning the identity of the settlor who left them vast sums of money. This raises a serious and troubling question: is the secrecy being sought because the settlor was brutally murdered for his trusts and millions in 1988?

So much more evidence is still to come—about multiple offshore islands, police forces across those islands, the Metropolitan Police, unsolved murders, CIA connections, drug cartels, and much more that the public deserves to see before they visit or consider using some of these offshore islands.

The Durrant murder and the lawyers who failed to act—while draining the estate through excessive legal fees—will be fully exposed. This systematic inaction, spanning decades, reveals a deeply flawed and exploitative legal process.

Efforts to remove Mr Smalley through the Isle of Man courts after decades of inaction instead resulted in him obtaining funds from the Jersey trust via his former business partner—the impostor trustee—and now retaining those monies for his own legal fees. The Durrant murder and the conduct of the lawyers involved will be fully exposed. This is a clear warning to the public: do not invest in these corrupted offshore jurisdictions until full regulation and reform take place. Even then, caution is essential. After witnessing decades of the same practices repeated without consequence, these islands continue to operate like a modern financial Wild West.
